Hi! I'm Precious. I am the Creator and Owner of Authentic Intentions Candle Company. We are a Small Business, Black-Woman Owned in Chicago, Illinois. We Hand-Poured all of our candles, curated with the intentions to encourage Self-Love with a focus on Self-Care, Mental-Well Being and Holistic Wellness. Starting this candle company is near and dear to my heart as it speaks volumes of my own life journey with Self-Love, Self-Care and Emotional Wellness and now I am able to tell my story through my candles. I started making candles during the pandemic in 2020 and established Authentic Intention Candles in 2021. Many people always ask how I started making candles and honestly being in a candle lit atmosphere has always been therapeutic for me mentally, spiritually and emotionally. And now making candles intentionally has sparked an inner sense of joy, peace and a burst of creative expression, where I can now share my inner light with the world. As Women, we often have so many roles regarding balancing time for career, motherhood, family, friends and self. Have you ever asked yourself how much time do you really dedicate to Self-Care and Self-Love for you. As someone who can relate to some of those continuous roles and even feelings of inner anxiety regarding those roles. I discovered that my own relationship with Candles has helped to calm my mind, harness my emotions and create mental stillness when encountering everyday life challenges and responsibilities. As someone who did not incorporate self-care for a long time, I have seen and experienced how lack of self-care can manifest into disease & illnesses physically or emotional imbalances mentally from not carefully putting yourself care needs as a priority.
